My friend and I (students, if it makes a difference) are traveling from Paris to Basel on a student budget. We DO NOT want a Eurail pass that costs $300 bucks for 4 countries or however many there are. We just want a one way ticket from Paris to Basel. We are not European residents either, in case you know of discounted prices for Europeans.
Right now the cheapest we found is about $100. The best answer will go to however finds the cheapest route.
