What’s the best way to do some world traveling?

I am thinking of heading off to Oz in January for the Aussie Open and then from there going to New Zealand and Thailand for a couple of weeks each as well, and maybe hitting up a couple other places. I was just wondering what the best way is to organize flights and visas, yet leave room for flexibility in my itinerary? I’m still fairly young (26) and might be able to qualify for some youth discounts, although not student discounts. I plan on traveling by myself and staying in budget accomodation along the way. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
p.s. I know certain European nations have different advantages and disadvantages regarding visas and flights that Americans don’t so please keep that in mind when responding. Thanks!

We’re doing a 12 week series in children’s church called Passport to Adventure. The kids will have passports and the theme is travel. Decoration ideas? It’s a small room and not a big budget.
I was thinking of using maps on the walls or something. I can probably get free ones from AAA. I’m afraid it’ll just look like I taped trash to the wall though.
Any cool thrifty ideas for decorating a room in a travel/adventure theme?
Thanks

Mexico is a land of rich history and culture and gorgeous beaches with clear blue water. Contrary to media coverage, Mexico isn’t all about tequila and run away convicts, but it is easy to see why they like to go there.
Mexico is a gorgeous country; and if you decide to take a tour around the area in which you are staying, you might be lucky to see some of the gorgeous Aztec ruins that are dotted around Mexico. Once you see these Aztec ruins, then you will understand why so many people love to come to Mexico over and over again.
In the summer, it is a great tourist attraction with plentiful sunshine and beautiful unspoiled beaches, but you should never stay in the same place twice because there is a lot more to see and do in the other parts of the country. Each city is different and more diverse than the next. And every time you visit another city, it will be similar to traveling to another country altogether.
Mexico City is where the majority of tourist go when they visit Mexico. This is primarly because Mexico City is so rife with historical landmarks and rich with culture. Anyone can enjoy Mexico, whether you are a hiker or someone looking for the fun side of Mexico. Everyone is covered and everyone will enjoy themselves when they go to Mexico.
However, if you plan to go on vacation to Mexico, you should consider purchasing Mexico travel insurance. Mexico is not always a safe place for tourists and it can often be quite rough. In addition to the mugging and theft in major cities, there are also a number of dangerous creatures, including spiders and scorpions in less developed areas. Either way-no matter what part you travel to-travel insurance is a must if you plan to travel to Mexico. You more than likely will not use it, as most do not, but if you do have to use it, you will be happy you purchased it.
